About This Course
The rolling Appalachian foothills north of Atlanta serve up a Greg Norman design that rewards precision over power, with elevation changes that can fool even seasoned Georgia golfers. Water hazards snake through eight holes, most memorably at the risk-reward par-5 18th where Sugarloaf Creek guards the left side of a reachable green. Norman's strategic bunkering and undulating greens demand thoughtful course management, making this a refreshing departure from the bomb-and-gouge mentality that plagues too many modern layouts.
